Born from the meeting of a man from Provence and a woman from Alsace, l’Écrin des Vignes reflects the identity of your hosts: a heated pool offering a holiday atmosphere reminiscent of the south of France, and a modern apartment adorned with nods to Alsatian heritage.

Passionate about magical moments for two, your hosts have visited several romantic cottages to take the best from each, in order to offer you an unforgettable stay. Nestled in the heart of Kochersberg, an Alsatian region with a rich agricultural and traditional heritage, l’Écrin was created after more than a year of thought and work, carried out with passion and care by your hosts.

  • The accommodation matched the photos perfectly, everything met our expectations. We had a wonderful stay and fully enjoyed the pool. A real plus: watching a film in the pool room thanks to the projector, a truly pleasant and original experience. We also really appreciated the lovely touches upon arrival.   • An enchanted escape, the name is well chosen! The accommodation matches the photos perfectly, very nicely decorated and truly cosy. The surroundings are peaceful, ideal for recharging. We loved the heated pool and the projector, it was really lovely to be able to watch a film by the water. Everything was well thought out and we didn’t lack anything. The concierge service was responsive and very attentive. A wonderful stay, we highly recommend!

The Kochersberg region

L’Écrin des Vignes is located in Gimbrett, in the heart of Kochersberg. Nicknamed the “breadbasket of Alsace”, this region of rolling hills has kept its authenticity: peaceful villages, half-timbered farms, and traditions still very much alive. It is said that this is where the tarte flambée was born. Strasbourg is 20 minutes away, the Wine Route within easy reach.
